We were able to convince Johnson, Travis, and Lisa. It was seriously so fun to do it with family! Hopefully this race did not scare anyone away from doing future obstacle races with Ben and I. It was a tough one because it was so cold, so rainy, and so cold (mentioning it only once did not seem adequate!). We all crossed the finish line. Not a single one of us was able to completed every obstacle. But, we did good and it was fun to run together and cheer each other on.
Jocelyn was excited to do her race. My Dad and Mom brought the girls over later in the morning after we had completed our race.
Ben and I did not sign up Bridget for the race. While Bridget was standing on the side lines with Grandma she continued to repeat how much she wanted to join in on the race. My mom made her day and helped run her around and she got to join in on the obstacles.
Jocelyn did awesome and ran the whole thing. She did most of the obstacles all by herself. She may just need a little practice on the monkey bars for the next race.
She had tons of family there to cheer her on. Everyone followed her around as she ran to each obstacle.
Go Jocelyn!
We ordered Jocelyn the smallest size shirt available. Her other terrain race she also got a shirt that was too large and we just had her wear it as a nightgown. She was excited when they gave her her shirt. She told us she was excited she did the race and was able to earn another pajama nightgown!
Time to start planning the next family obstacle race!
