The Aquarium was huge! It had a huge tank at the beginning that was multiple floors, then following that we headed into another section that was three floors full of fish and animals. They had huge Orca, Blue Whale, and shark replicas hanging from the ceiling. We went through a large tunnel and watched all the fish swim above and around us. It was neat.
My favorite were the little Garden Eels. They would sit and sway with their heads poking out of the sand. If something swam past them they would quickly disappear into their burrow. It was the first time we had seen Garden Eels at an aquarium. The kids enjoyed watching them as well.
Bridget though we stayed a little too long watching the Garden Eels. She stole her Daddy's hat and started to run away to let us know she was ready to move on.
They had fun crawl spaces where the kids could go under the aquarium and pop their head up inside to get a close look.
They also had multiple touch ponds. Jocelyn's favorite of course was the touch pond with the sting rays. We had to bribe her to leave!
They even had a shark tank with some pretty decent sized sharks.
Jocelyn and her Daddy barely got away!
At the end the kids got to color a picture and scan it into a computer. They then would project the drawings up on a wall and the kids could watch their drawing swim around. Jocelyn colored a turtle and wrote her name JoJo on it (which ended up being upside down). She loved it just the same and enjoyed watching her turtle swim around.
We had a lot of fun! Bridget was all tuckered out from our adventure.
We really wore these girls out this trip! They went to sleep so quickly each night and both of them slept through the night.
