Our second day was spent at Universal Studios. We were surprised at how many characters we actually got to meet!! Curious George, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Puss 'n Boots, Fiona, Poppy, and the entire Scooby Doo gang.
Scooby Doo did not want to give little Bridget back.
We watched all the shows a special effects show, a waterworld show that was crazy awesome. They had jet skiis that could go under water and the actors would just pop out riding them. There was fire, explosions, and even a huge jet that flew in and crashed on set. It was intense. The girls favorite shows was the animal actors. We stopped in Simpson Land and bought a treat to watch at the animal show.
Of course that treat happened to be a Lard Lad Donuts. After purchasing the donut we asked Bridget if she was ready to go in to see the show. She replied as she was staring at the donut, "No! I want to eat that." We told her the donut was the treat for the show so she headed in with us to get her piece. It was pretty delicious!
We were able to ride every single ride in the park and see all the shows. My favorite part of the night was visiting Hogsmeade and see the Hogwarts Castle. We were also able to go into Ollivander's and I was fitting for a wand. My wand "chose" me because I have a strong sense of family, I am caring, compassionate, and I seek for a greater purpose in life. We had fun going around the Wizarding World performing spells. Of course we could not leave Hogsmeade without a creamy Butter Beer. All my Harry Potter dreams came true!!
We loved our day at Universal! The girls of course tried to get into some mischief with some Minions. But, as parents we had to put a stop to all that mischief.
