Abra Kanabra and the Magical Aquatic Center

We have discovered that Kanab has a pretty exciting Aquatic center.

They have a nice shallow play area for Jo to walk around in.

She also had fun learning to float on her back and kick her legs.

They also have a lazy river and some fun slides. She was too nervous to go down on her own, but, she had fun going down a few times with us. They had a large water slide and I was going to take Jo down with me, however, right as I was getting out of the pool we heard Thunder.

They made everyone get out of the pool and we had to wait to see if we heard anymore.

 Little Jo played in the grass for a little while, but, what she really wanted was to get back into the pool. She kept running back towards the pool.

 Unfortunately for us we heard more claps of Thunder in the distance and the pool was closed down for the rest of the day.

 Poor Jo was so bummed she kept knocking on the door in the locker room trying to get back out.

 We waited a little while and the storm did not come towards us so to our delight there was a playground and splash pad outside the Aquatic Center.

Jocee has not spent a lot of time at splash pads and so she gets nervous with the water randomly squirting up. She was brave enough to stick her hand in the water.

 I took a few laps around the splash pad with her. 

In the end she did get brave enough to run through the outside by herself! Way to go Jo!

 She also got to go down the slides a few times and swing on the swings. It was such a fun play area. I would LOVE it if they put something like this in Page.

 Of course she had to climb to the tallest one and try it first.

We had such a fun time! Cannot wait to go again and hopefully get to spend a little more time swimming.
