Ben had a work conference in Kanab this summer. The girls and I decided to tag along and we would head to the pool and have a picnic at the park while Ben was at his conference. Unfortunately, when we got there the entire pool was reserved for some work party so we could not swim.
Luckily, the park has a splash pad so the girls still got to cool off in the water. They had so much fun.
Another couple from Page showed up to go swimming as well and headed over to the splash pad to hang out with me when they saw the pool was closed to the public. There was literally no one swimming in the pool most of the morning. So, the husband of the couple from Page went over and found the person in charge and got permission for us all to swim in the pool. The best part it was free and we literally had the pool to ourselves for an entire hour
It was a fun day filled with lots of water and fun. The girls both wore their lifejackets and had fun floating around and going down the waterslides. Jocelyn has really become quite a good swimmer this summer.
When the work party ended and we had to get out of the pool we headed over to the picnic tables and had some lunch. We had such a fun afternoon! We love the Kanab pool.
