Bridget’s Birthday

Bridget is four years old! This girl loves Sonic, The Hulk, and cheetah's. Her birthday requests involved a sonic birthday cake, a stuffed animal Hulk and a stuffed animal Cheetah. She says she loves Sonic and Cheetah's because they run so fast. She loves The Hulk because he is strong. 

This girl is growing up too fast! She loves going to preschool, she is great with numbers but still is learning her letters. She is starting to get better pen control. We have been doing home preschool since April of this year and she has a short attention span! It did get better through the months. But, it was a struggle to get her to sit and do her work books and practice her letters. At the beginning, I would tell her it was time for school and she would say no she did want to she just wanted to play. A few weeks in she was actually excited to sit down and work. We made a lot of progress! She did love listening to wiggle songs and listening to books though. She will sit down and read books by herself for hours! She also loves to sing! While she plays she sits and sings all sorts of songs. The girls know a lot of nursery rhythms and she will sing baa baa black sheep all the time. She gets about half of the lyrics right and makes up the rest. We love listening to her songs.

Bridget is such an affectionate little girl. She tells Ben and I all the time, "I want you. I want you to hold me." She makes sure she gets her cuddle time everyday. She will tickle your arm as you cuddle with her. She gives the sweetest little kisses and the best big tight hugs. 

She loves to play with her sister. They get along majority of the time :)! We moved the full size bed into the girls room because they were trying to share a little twin bed. Bridget thinks it is fun to stay up late into the night playing and will try to keep Jocelyn awake. She also never wants to help clean up her toys. She will do whatever she can to try to get out of it. Her tummy hurts too much to pick up or she is just too tired, or she has to go to the bathroom and will be in there forever. Or she will go so slow so Jocelyn ends up doing most of the cleaning every night. If she is naughty and gets put into time out she 100% of the time has to go potty so bad and gets herself out of time out for a minute or two. 

We sure love this girl and had fun celebrating her. She brings so much joy into our lives. Happy Birthday baby girl!
