Last summer Ben and I went for a swim in Lake Powell at least twice a week. This summer has been a little different with a new baby around. She has such fair skin and since she is not old enough to wear sunscreen quite yet, we have been nervous about taking her to the lake.
We finally got around to taking her one evening just a little bit before sundown. 
The water was a little chilly so we started out with just the toes.
Then the Legs.
Then to the waist.
Finally she was ready for a swim. She wasn't so sure about swimming on her back, but she loved splashing around while Ben held her on her tummy. Our time was short because there was not much daylight left.
We decided to call it a night.
Little Jo's first swim was a success, and she looked pretty adorable in her swimsuit.
