Jo is getting some great practice lately preparing for her Little Sister's arrival. With help she wraps up "Baby Bree" and carries her around the house. She has also wanted to feed Bree a bottle and put a diaper on her bum. Bree is not quite as fond about the idea of wearing a diaper and so we have encouraged Jo to stick to diapering her Baby Dolls.
Jo is pretty good at changing diapers and loves setting up her changing pad and wiping their "stinky bums" clean.
We think that she is starting to understand that their is a baby in Mom's belly. She use to point to my belly button and her own belly button calling it a "Baby." After a while once my belly started poking out she started to understand a little more that there is a baby. She has felt the baby kick as well. She is also constantly hearing me tell her not to kick or jump on my belly because we don't want her to hurt the baby. The other day I blew a raspberry on her belly and she sternly told me no Mom the baby as she pointed to her own belly. So, maybe she understands somewhat, maybe not at all. Either way we are approaching the two month mark to go where we will be seeing this little one soon. Can't believe it!
