Saturday we drove over to Bryce Canyon National Park.
and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
It was a pretty busy weekend and we had trouble finding parking spots at a few viewpoints so we decided to find a parking spot and pick out a hike.
This very pregnant lady was not feeling very adventurous and so Lisa, Ben, Jo, and I did a Sunrise Point to Sunset Point Rimview trail while they others hiked a moderate trail.
Jo hung out for a little while in the carrier and then wanted to get down and walk around.
This girl does not like to sit still and always wants to be on the move.
One of my fears about this trip was that Jo would want to walk around. Then all of a sudden she would decide to run away from us (which she does A LOT) and while she was running she would turn around, look back at us, and then fall of the edge of a cliff. Call me paranoid, but this girl is so oblivious while running away that it could have been a possible.
So, when I saw this sign I knew I had to take a picture.
Jo was actually a very good girl and listened well. Ben only had to go chasing after her once or twice. When family was around she was content holding one of her Aunt, Uncle, or Grandparents hands.
While we enjoyed the breathtaking views, Jo enjoyed her favorite thing playing in the dirt, and rocks.
We finished up our stroll quicker then the rest of the family and headed over to the General Store and ate some delicious soft serve ice cream.
We had a picnic lunch when the rest of the family returned. Jo was not so interested in eating and just wanted to run around and play. Ben chased Jo around and held her up to tree branches for her to swing like a monkey. we even had three deer pass through the area while we were enjoying our lunch.
Jo fell down while running around and got a small cut on her finger and a good face full of dirt. Uncle Travis and Aunt Lisa had a first aid kid and bandaged her up. Once she got the band-aid on her finger she was happy and said, "I am all better now."
We headed over to the visitors center before we headed back to our vacation rental and Jo was able to adopt a Prarie Dog.
