Bearizona

Ben had been wanting to go to Bearizona for a while and we were finally able to make it there for our birthday weekend. There are two parts to Bearizona a driving portion and a small area where you can walk through and interact with some of the animals, watch shows, and watch the animals in their enclosures. We went through the driving portion first. Jo was super excited that she got to get out of her car seat and sit up front with me.
She had a great view.
We were able to see deer.

One even came right up to our car and looked straight into our window. She also then proceeded to start licking our car. It must have been something to do with how awesome our new car is.

After visiting the deer we drove through the wolves section. Jocelyn had fun pointing out all the animals.

We saw Bison.
Big Horned Sheep.
There was a car that was slightly inpatient behind us and passed us while we were looking at the Big Horned Sheep. It startled a herd of them, so they all came up and surrounded our car. I told Ben to start slowing inching forward. All of a sudden we felt a jolt as one of the males was hitting the back of our car with his horns! I was so worried that he had scratched up our new car! Luckily for us he did not leave any marks.
They sure were beautiful animals to look at, although I would have preferred if they had not given me a near panic attack!
The last section that you drive through is the bears.
There were a few napping, others eating, or just walking around.
Jo had fun watching them.
It was a neat experience being able to be so close to all the animals.
We sure are lucky to live on this beautiful earth, surrounded by all these amazing creatures. We hope that Jo can learn to love and respect all living things.
