Our trip to Salt Lake to visit family was fun and also very busy. After Sheena and the kids left we rode tracks up to Gardener Village to go to Witches Night Out with Jessie. I was kind of surprised to find out that it a night out for women...lots of women all dressed as witches dancing around. Luckily they have a kids area that we headed over to that was a blast.
laying in.
We took so many pictures to get a good one and I have to say sometimes when you just cannot get a good picture of both of them you just accept what you get...and you know what sometimes I love these silly ones better than the cute, perfect pictures.
Jo had fun going down a slide, climbing a spider web, and going through a corn maze running which she ran the whole thing at full speed.
They also had a bouncing pillow. The kids were being crazy breaking rules, doing flips. Some little kid kept coming up to Jo and bouncing right next to her to make her fall. Parents who do not watch their kids and let them break rules drive me crazy! Especially when my own kid is involved. We took Jo away from the pillow and found something else for her to play on.She enjoyed playing on the frog and going down the slide...then we found a fun little petting farm. She got to pet goats, horses, a donkey, and an alpaca. They even had a baby alpaca we got to meet. While we were by the alpaca cage the farmer came by to get a goodnight from one of them. Jocelyn saw him getting a kiss and yelled out..hey I want a kiss too. So, the farmer invited Jo right over and Jo sure enough got a kiss right on the cheek.
After walking around Aunt Jessie paid for Jo to go on a pony ride.
The guide took her around Gardener Village and even let Jo ride without any assistance.
Jo was in heaven...this girl just love, love, loves animal and was so sad when the pony ride ended. It was sure fun while it was happening though and we made some fun memories.
You need to practice your mom "stink eye". It's what I give to strange kids who come to be obnoxious by my kids. Pretty effective. And when it's not I throw in a little "Hey you, get out of here!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for going with me. It sure was a lot of fun to spend time with you guys. It was a blast watching Jo play & go on the horse ride & I couldn't get over how cute it was when Bridget giggled at her silly sister playing. Love you guys tons!
