Hole N' the Rock

On our way home from our Moab camping trip, we made a pit stop at a place called Hole in the Rock. We enjoyed walking around looking at the old cars, antique gas pumps, and pieces of old children's rides, and animal statues.

They had an awesome car sitting outside the general store that was made out of license plates, mechanical pieces, and tools.

This place gets its name because there is an actual home carved into the cave wall that you can tour. We passed up on the tour, but briefly went inside the cave to walk around the gift shop.

The girls favorite part of the stop was the petting zoo. They got to walk around and feed all the animals. They had sheep, a camel, a deer, a pig, alpacas, a donkey, a zebra, and emus. Cooper the camel was fun, he would follow us as we walked around the fence of his cage. He loved the carrots. They also had an alpaca that had the longest teeth! 

The girls made sure that each animal got a little bit of food.

Jocelyn loved feeding the Watusi. You would poor the oats into a bin and he would sit and lick them up.

I guess I have a strange thing going on with taking pictures of the animals teeth. But, watching this big guy eat kind of grossed me out. His teeth needed a good brushing. Next time I will bring a toothbrush for this guy! Hole N' the Rock  was a great way to end our Moab trip!
