Jocelyn's First Day of Kindergarten

Jocelyn has been looking forward to Kindergarten since the beginning of her last year of Preschool. At the beginning of the 2018 school year her frequent question was, "When do I get to go to Kindergarten?" I would always reply when you are 5 years old. Then she turned 5 in March and was disappointed to find out that it actual was not right when she turned 5 years old. She had to wait through the summer. Although on her last day of preschool she was a little sad to be moving onto Kindergarten.
The day before her first day of school we got to go in and meet her teacher Ms. Rasmussen and see her classroom. Her first day of School was August 6. This girl was just as excited as could be!
We walked Jocelyn into her classroom and she gave Bridget and I a hug and kiss at the door. Then she headed right in with a big smile on her face. I did pretty good keeping it together as I walked out of the school. Then I looked at Bridget's face, and saw tears falling down her little cheeks. Seeing her be so emotional made my eyes water up. She will miss playing with her sister all day long. But, Jocelyn was so ready for Kindergarten, she is just going to do great! We are so proud of our little Kindergarten!
