While we were in Phoenix we also got to celebrate our little Bridget's third birthday. It really felt like a week long birthday celebration. All the swimming, going to the movies to see Toy Story 4, and all the places we got to visit. On the day of her actual birthday she woke up and told me, "Mom it's my birthday. Me is three now!" To celebrate our spunky three year old, I took the girls to the Children's Museum during the day. They got to just be wild, climb, and explore.
The girls got to plant and pick a garden, go grocery shopping, cook, play dress up and go on stage, sit in a corner and read stories, build tracks with pvc pipe to race marbles down, race cars down a race track, and sit in a race car. Jocelyn made sure that they did not run out of gas. They had a great time!
After the Children's Museum we went and picked up Ben from his training. We got some dinner and took Bridget to make a birthday bear at Build-A-Bear. She was a little shy and had Jocelyn help her out. The employee had Jocelyn and Bridget each put a heart into Bridget's birthday bear making it "extra special" because it was full of sisters love.
Bridget loved giving her bear a bath and enjoyed picking out a unicorn/rainbow outfit for her bear. She gave her bear the name Raspbeary.
I think this girl had a pretty good third birthday. We sure had a lot of fun celebrating her. We are so blessed to have her, cheesy smile and all, in our family!
