After going hiking, Jocelyn was exciting to go swimming and asked the second we got back to camp if we could head over to the swimming pool.
The water was really cold! Jocelyn and I just went for it and jumped right in.
Jocelyn loved the water and started kicking and splashing around right away. She told us that she did not want any help and to let her go. By the end, she was able to stay afloat and kick around in the water all by herself with her life jacket.
Bridget also loves water and got so excited the second she saw the swimming pool. I of course had to take a few pictures of this cute girl before we got in. When she saw that I was taking her picture she adoringly leaned in right towards the camera for me and gave me a little smile.
Once we jumped in, she seemed a little confused at first that Mommy and Daddy were in the pool with her. This was her first experience swimming and usually it is just Jocelyn in the water with her.
Jocelyn got cold pretty quick, but Bridget was protected by her extra fluff and did not even seem bothered by the cold water.
After swimming for a little while Jocelyn was just too chilled and asked to get into the "soap."
I went over to the hot tub and felt the temperature. It was not even hot; it felt like a warm bath so we let the girls warm up for a few minutes.
Jocelyn had fun hiding her turtle in all the bubbles and giving herself a bubble beard. She mostly just enjoyed sitting in the warm water and did not want to get out.
Bridget was bewitched with all the bubbles and kept trying to pick them up.
When she saw some on her hand she would just stare, inspecting the bubbles.
She really loved kicking and splashing around in the warm water as well.
